I started my business back in 2011, several years after I picked up a camera for the first time. It just made sense to combine my love for photography, people, and love. During weddings you may find me tearing up behind my camera during your ceremony as you read your vows, laughing with you as your favorite cousin breaks it down on the dance floor, and there for you when you need someone to fix your veil or tie your bowtie.
As a wedding photographer, I have the unique privilege to be with you throughout your wedding day. I will not only document the big and small moments, but will also act as a leader to ensure your day runs smoothly. Yes, that means helping you stick to your planned timeline; rallying your family for the list of portraits you've carefully planned; and encouraging you to breathe and be present throughout this important day in your lives!
My clients are the most important part of my job. Understanding that every couple is different and special, I will do my best to make sure I understand your vision and that your needs are met. It brings me so much joy to chat with my clients before their wedding, and relive their day as I edit their photographs with the utmost detail and authenticity always in mind.
Things I love: sunlight, all four seasons, cats and dogs, good food, podcasts and books on tape, traveling, quality time with my family and friends, baking, watching films and becoming addicted to new crime TV shows, picnicking, hiking, long drives.
Things I've done: taken a photo every day for 365 days, taken a video every day for 365 days (a different year!), graduated with my bachelor's in Psychology and Women's & Gender studies, started my journey to my doctorate in Clinical Psychology, traveled to 5 continents and 17 different countries, went to the movies alone (serious goal for 2018), worked with the most wonderful people I could have ever imagined!
